This 3 Days (2 Nights) Gorilla Tour takes you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in South Western Uganda. Go gorilla trekking in the bamboo forests of Mgahinga and meet the Nyakagezi gorilla family, the only habituated gorilla family in the park.

Trip Itinerary
Day1: Kampala to Kisoro
You will be picked by our company experienced driver guide and set off from Kampala to Kisoro which is about 540 km from Uganda’s Capital city. Stop over for lunch in Mbarara or drive straight to the park. Dinner and lodging at a place of your choice.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After an early morning breakfast, the guide leads you through the gorilla world, clearing up aspects of their ecosystem and behavior. Gorilla trekking is the most exciting memorable experience, which might take you through a thick tropical rain forest jungle all a day. The gorilla family (Nyakagezi group) consists of 9 members; 3 adult females, 2 silver backs, 2 juveniles and 2 infants. Gorilla Tracking in Mgahinga can take from three to eight hours. We advise that you to wear good trekking shoes suitable for muddy places. Dinner and Overnight at Sawa Sawa Guest House (Basic) / Kisoro Tourist Hotel (Budget) / Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (Midrange) / Mount Gahinga Lodge (Luxury)
Day 3: Departure
After a morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport. You will have enroute lunch in Mbarara. Drop off at the hotel or the Airport.
