Etihad Uganda start passenger flights to starting 2015. Though no specific launch date could be obtained at this time. Only recently did the airline commence cargo flights to Uganda and the start of passenger flights will be the next logical step to expand services into Africa.

The arrival of Etihad will no doubt cause turmoil in the Ugandan market where traveler will gain an advantage of competitive lower rates, as Gulf carriers Emirates and Qatar Airways compete with Turkish Airlines and the European legacy carriers like Brussels Airlines, KLM and British Airways.
